To start your descent into owning multiple terrariums (trust us, it’s a rewarding yet slippery slope), be sure to follow these steps.
Materials Required
Small Gardening Tools
Glass Container/Pot - the pot you use is up to you! Just be sure it’s transparent so you can see the stunning mini garden you’ve created (mason jars are a great option)
Activated Charcoal
Potting Soil
Small Stones Or Pebbles
Plants - Of course! Use plants that are small enough for your pot and that thrive in humidity. Some of our favourites are: succulents, cacti, starfish plants, nerve plants, air plants and moon valley
Steps
Step 1
Fill the bottom of the terrarium with an approximately 1.5 inch thick layer of small stones
Step 2
Cover with a thin layer of activated charcoal

Tip
Lightly water the base every two weeks (or as stated in your plant care instructions) and be sure to keep the terrarium in an area that receives a ton of sunlight.
