To truly enjoy this season it’s essential to ensure that you glow brightly from the inside out. Take care of your mind, soul and body while you unwind and appreciate the beauty around you. 

Inner Defence

  • Having a strong immune system is one of the most important things in this world, especially now as we all are trying to live our best lives while staying healthy. To achieve this try incorporating supplements into your daily regime. Some good ones to start with are vitamins C, D, Zinc and probiotics, be sure to talk with your doctor to see which ones are best for you. 
  • Some other ways to strengthen yourself from the inside include eating more antioxidant-rich vegetables like kale, spinach, red cabbage, carrots, sweet potatoes and pumpkins. Try sourcing these from your local farmer’s markets or anywhere where you can find organic foods. 
  • And of course, drink water! We know this is something that is said quite often but do try to drink 2-3 litres a day to flush various toxins out and to stay hydrated. 

Take Care Of You

  • The best way to get Vitamin D is from the beautiful natural sun. So, put on your SPF 50 sunscreen and get ready to go on a daily walk (for about 30 minutes) to get your dose of sun. To really get yourself fit for the summer, we recommend riding your bike, going on a hike by the mountains or swimming. Take advantage of the sun as much as you can!
  • Don’t forget to also revamp your social life, in winter it's much harder to meet up as often, so with these sunny times on your side - it’s time to fill up your plans.
